Our JCE article, “Evidence for the Effectiveness of Inquiry-Based, Particulate-Level Instruction on Conceptions of the Particulate Nature of Matter” was the result of working together within the Target Inquiry program for two and a half years. We both reflect on the Target Inquiry program, discuss several activities that were developed during that time that were designed to develop particle-level models of matter and our JCE article within our presentation. We encourage you to review both the student and teacher versions of the Target Inquiry activites embedded in our presentation.
